Please obtain approval from the Competent Financial Authority (CFA) before placing the order. For example, if you have a budget of ₹3 lakh to purchase an item, but the rules state that items valued above ₹2.5 lakh require permission from the Dean or Director, you cannot proceed with the purchase without their authorization, even if you have the funds available.
